Her second professional audition, which again translated into a leading role, was for The Fast and the Furious, a movie that turned out to be the blockbuster hit of the summer of 2001. If that wasn't enough to seriously up Michelle's visibility, her relationship with Vin Diesel that evolved out of the production certainly was. Had Michelle's career continued along the ridiculously successful path it started on, she very well could single-handedly be ruling the entertainment industry today. But the rest of Hollywood need fear not -- at least not yet -- as her celebrity status seems to have plateaued since. Appearances in Spike Lee's made-for-cable film 3 A.M. and the big screen adaptation of the video game, Resident Evil have sustained Michelle in the perimeters of the public eye, but failed to make her the focus of it.
