The only difference between her and her character is that now she's also Leonardo DiCaprio's arm candy. But all irony aside, she is a gorgeous, talented girl and also the most likely Gossip Girl cast member to move on to better things once that show is put out of its misery. Blake Lively has joined the latest trend in Hollywood for young actresses: taking nude photos and having them leaked on the internet. But even before Lively got her latest boost of media frenzied attention, she impressed the casting directors of Gossip Girl enough to land her the lead role. Casting directors of teen "dramas" have it pretty good. They get to sit all day while hot, desperate young girl after hot, desperate young girl parade in and try to impress them. But when Lively walked into to audition, their normally awesome day got even better. This leggy blonde had a radiance about her that blew every other girl that showed up into a pile of discarded headshots. And anyone lucky enough to see her waltzing around NYC will notice she isn’t afraid to flaunt her beauty with her dizzying wardrobe of tight, revealing clothing that gives New Yorkers and tourists a reason to wear "I heart New York" T-shirts. The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants might sound like an all-female adult film, but it is actually one of the most successful tween movies in history. Blake Lively was one of the stars of that $42 million blockbuster at the tender age of 18. Since then, she’s landed a gig on one of TV’s hottest shows (the aforementioned Gossip Girl), appeared on the covers of Nylon and Teen Vogue and was named of the top 35 most stylish women to look out for by Glamour UK. In 2010, Lively starred opposite Mad Men’s Jon Hamm in the Ben Affleck-directed movie The Town, and in 2011 she ranked No. 1 on our Top 99 Most Desirable Women list. Yeah, I don't comment on my relationships... My anonymity is something I treasure. Wanting to be an actor and wanting to be famous are different. With acting, I think half of it is just acting confident. We stand on these red carpets and pose in these dresses, but we're all only so confident. It doesn't mean we think we're great looking or anything. It's all a façade. [on being cast as Carol Ferris in Green Lantern (2011)]: It was nice for me that this was a studio that wasn't looking for some girl to have her legs greased up and her boobs out - and that was all that mattered. I imagined that no one else knew anything about 'Green Lantern'. As soon as I got the role I was humbled about how naive I was. They were grilling me about StarSapphire and Hector Hammond and how many Green Lanterns are going to show up. All I could say was 'What are you guys talking about?'
